In the Context of the Feasibility Study Project in Egypt, which was mostly managed and coordinated remotely due to the Covid-19 Situation, lighter travel restrictions and vaccination progress made it possible to have site visits in Cairo to meet the local team, interview SMEs face to face and converse with potentially interesting technology providers. The interim workshop presenting the results of the interm report could also take plase face to face, presenting the assessment of potential agencies for the credit line and the results of the market analyzation.
Together with the local partner Firnas Shuman, MACS is assessing the feasibility of a new KfW Green Credit Line facility in Egypt, specifically aimed at small or medium size companies.
