Since May, the construction works in Rural Ajara have started in the context of the construction process starting for LOT 1 - in the semi urban areas and LOT 2 in the rural villages - of the Ajara Water Supply and Wastewater Program, Georgia.
At this time, more than 100 km of water supply piping are already implemented, and the network of piping connections will be extended further over the coming months, depending on the weather conditions allowing safe and effective implementation. The water supply network and related piping connections are being constructed currently in 18 of the total 39 rural villages, and all construction activities are supported by construction supervision, coordination with the social team and extensive Village User Group Interaction, in order to ensure smooth implementation and communication of local interests on-site and on eye-level.
The construction phase will most likely continue until 2027.
