During the site mission for the LOCOMO project in Moldova this week, the MACS Capacity Development Team held a meeting at the Edinet Municipality Meeting Room, with school directors of all schools in Edinet to prepare for a school event and competition on WATER and GENDER as the main theme of events for the 2026 World Water Day, celebrated on March 22nd 2026.
The pupils of all the schools are encouraged to participate in the competition and event to prepare their thoughts and ideas on Water and Gender and provide a presentation or video or else to the evaluation committee. Dr. Lia Davitadze, the key gender expert from MACS presented the project and invited all schools to participate. The school directors are delighted and in full support of the project, supporting the preparation for the event in March from their side in the coming weeks.
