Peru: MACS joins new GIZ funded Project to develop a Strategy for GHG mitigation measures in Wastewater Treatment Plants

After concluding the Contract Negotiations, MACS has joined a GIZ funded Project to develop a Strategy for the scaling of GHG mitigation measures in Wastewater Treatment Plants in Latin America, with a focus on Peru, Mexico, Colombia and Bolivia

After concluding the Contract Negotiations o the 27th of July, MACS has joined a GIZ funded Project to develop a Strategy for the scaling of GHG mitigation measures in Wastewater Treatment Plants in Latin America. The Project will include site visits to multiple Wastewater Treatment Plants in Peru as well as close Cooperation with WaCCliM ( Water and Sanitation Services Companies for Mitigation Climate Change) to ultimately integrate climate change mitigation in sectoral strategies and interventions for wastewater treatment municipalities.
