Serbia: Energy Efficiency Credit Line for MSME with Erste Bank

The Program "Promotion of Investments in Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy in the Banking Sector / Eco Loans " addresses the challenges of EE investments being insufficient due to lack of awareness and limited access to long term financing. Under this Program, Erste Bank Novi Sad (EBS) has signed a Credit Line of EUR 15 million to be extended as EE loans to MSMEs on 21 December 2017. The objective of the Credit Line is to increase and deepen access of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) and private households to EE finance thus contributing to the reduction of energy consumption and CO2-emissions in Serbia and MACS has been contracted to support Erste Bank Serbia in the successful implementation of an EE credit line enabling MSMEs to finance EE investments.
