In the Context of the Solid Waste Management Project in Korca MACS developed a school curriculum with regard to topics like waste prevention, recycling, and the waste management system in the region. In the framework of a training session MACS presented the curriculum on site. More than 70 teachers from different schools of the region attended the training session. They will teach the content of the lessons in the now beginning new school year. Following the work in classes teachers and students are going to visit the landfill in Maliq to get a „live“ impression on how the waste management systems works.
