BiH: Driving Green Finance in Bosnia and Herzegovina though the private sector

Kick-Off for the Support to Intesa Sanpaolo Banka BiH in the context of the Low Carbon Energy Facility in BiH.

MACS is proud to announce its support to Intesa Sanpaolo Banka BiH in implementing a EUR 20 million Credit Line financed by KfW under the Low Carbon Energy Facility BiH. This program will enable MSMEs and municipalities to invest in energy efficiency and renewable energy projects, backed by grant component for successfully implemented projects.

Together with our local partner from ENOVA, we will support the Bank with a comprehensive package of technical assistance, including the review of the Bank’s portfolio for energy savings potential and refining loan processes, training Bank staff, enhancing marketing strategies, and implementing our energy & CO₂ savings monitoring tool eSave. We will also conduct simplified energy audits, carry out Environmental & Social Due Diligence, and assist in fund disbursement verification.

By combining international expertise of MACS and the local insight of ENOVA, we aim to make this facility a catalyst for sustainability, competitiveness, and community benefits across Bosnia and Herzegovina.
