In the context of the Ceara IV Project, strengthening and technical advisory for the SISARs and Instituto SISAR in Fortaleza (Ceará), the local MACS team, supported by our NRW Expert Dr. Josep Pons conducted a technical visit to the Batente Complex in Ocara (CE) to gain a firsthand understanding of the water supply system’s operations and identify opportunities for improvement.
The visit included an assessment of reservoirs, pumping stations, booster stations, and sections of the distribution network, as well as discussions with local technicians and the communities served.
The results of the visits and investigations will contribute to the activities and deliveries during the 3rd Phase of the Ceara IV Project, determining concrete mitigation measures and improvements for all 8 project SISARs.
