BRAZIL: Stakeholder Workshop for Instituto SISAR, SISAR and GESAR in Ceará

Stakeholder Workshop for collaborative development for strengthening goverance and institutional roles.

On July 22 and 23, the workshop "The Role of Instituto SISAR, SISAR and GESAR in Rural Sanitation in Ceará: Alignment and Consolidation" was held, bringing together representatives from the eight SISAR organizations in Ceará, Instituto SISAR, the State Government, and strategic partners.

The event was marked by the collaborative development of proposals aimed at strengthening governance, reviewing the institutional roles of the Model’s key stakeholders, and enhancing the responsibility framework for rural sanitation in Ceará, in the context of the currently running support project to Instituto SISAR and SCIDADES, financed by KfW.

As more than just a workshop, it served as a space for dialogue, active listening, and consensus-building, reaffirming a shared commitment to an increasingly efficient, transparent, and sustainable Model for rural communities.

Participation of stakeholder representatives was active and responsive and MACS is proud to support the sector development in Ceará in close cooperation with them.
