On May 20th 2026, the Edinet School Event for the World Water Day 2026 was implemented in the Edinet city hall meeting room. 6 schools in Edinet participated in the event and pupils presented the projects that they have been working on over the last three months during the public event.
Following the Theme of the World Water Day 2026 : "Water and Gender", their works elaborated on the theme and presented a creative and fascinating mix of perspectives on water in their day-to-day reality. All participating pupils received a certificate and useful giveaways sponsored by the Austrian Development Agency, MACS Energy & Water and the municipality of Edinet in the context of the Local Communities Programme.
