As part of the awareness-raising campaigns in Alto Trujillo, Peru, the MACS social team organized a story-writing and drawing competition titled “Water that Inspires.” The purpose of this competition was to give students from schools participating in SEDALIB’s Non-Revenue Water Program an opportunity to express the value of water through short stories and artwork.
The award ceremony was held on October 22, 2025, at Ramón Castilla School. Fifteen students from six different schools were recognized for their creativity and imagination. The best drawings will serve as inspiration for murals that will be painted in various public spaces around Alto Trujillo.
The social team was delighted to see how students are becoming increasingly aware of the importance of water, both in their schools and homes. Their enthusiasm and commitment are sowing the seeds for a future where water is protected and conserved throughout Alto Trujillo.
